Keala Kanae’s Power Code Masterclass Review: The Free Bait Before the $29K Hook

Keala Kanae Power Code Masterclass review scam

I’ve spent years exposing Keala Kanae’s huge upsells, from AWOL Academy to Fullstaq Marketer to his newest event, Genesis by Inspirean. But there’s a piece that comes right before the massive Genesis upsell, and that’s his Power Code Masterclass.

This masterclass is free. But in Keala’s world, “free” is exactly where you should slow down and pay attention.

Is Keala Kanae’s Power Code Masterclass a Scam?

The Power Code Masterclass isn’t a scam, it’s a free 90-minute to 2-hour webinar. Here are 6 red flags I spotted:

  • “Free” is just the front door. This masterclass funnels straight to a $349 event, then coaching reported as high as $29,000!
  • Welcome to the Hype Zone. This “masterclass” doesn’t offer any actual tools, resources or actual solutions to any problem. Just a push to the next step in the upsell ladder.
  • It upsells before it begins. A “bonus training” pitch and SMS texts hit the second you register.
  • New approach, same methods. Even though Keala’s tone has changed from his backwards hat “guru” days, the upsell ladder and high ticket upsells are still par for the course.
  • The “live” class isn’t live. Pre-recorded, with a start time minutes away. Fake urgency.
  • The “guarantee” protects nothing. You didn’t buy anything, so there’s nothing to refund.

Keala Kanae Power Code Masterclass Review

Keala Kanae’s Power Code Masterclass is a free online webinar run by online “guru” and marketer Keala Kanae and his company Inspirean, LLC. Depending on which landing page you land on, it’s billed as anywhere from a 90-minute to a 2-hour session.

You’ll also see it dressed up under a louder name: the “Unf*ckwithable Masterclass.” Classy.

It’s the latest in a long line of platforms run by Keala, and even with a slight shift in his delivery, this platform follows the same yellow brick “upsell” road.

Piggy backing off the success of Tony Robbins’ style, motivational masterclasses (I see clips from these all the time on Instagram reels), the whole pitch is built around something Keala trademarked called the “Power Code”.

This is one of those seminars where they convince you this “code” has been secretly running your whole life, and once you learn to decipher and rewire it, you’ll wipe out all your procrastination, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome for good.

If you’ve read my Genesis review, this should all sound familiar. That’s because the Power Code Masterclass is the front door to Genesis. One of my own YouTube commenters laid out the funnel perfectly: the Power Code masterclass is the intro, Genesis is the next layer, and then they hit you with the “premium” coaching after that.

This free class isn’t the destination. It’s just meant to be the on ramp.Buckle your seatbelts.

Who is the Power Code Masterclass for? Entrepreneurs and “high achievers” who feel stuck and are wanting a pep talk.

Who is it not for: Anyone who wants concrete, step-by-step skills to actually make money online. You will not get that here. This is mindset content with a sales pitch attached.

Power Code Masterclass Competitors

Free” webinars that pitch a paid program at the end are everywhere in this space. Here’s a few you’ve probably crossed paths with:

  • Tony Robbins free trainings / “Time to Rise” challenges: Free or low-cost virtual sessions that warm you up for his paid events like Unleash the Power Within (around $895 general admission). Same value-then-upsell structure, much more established brand.
  • Dean Graziosi & Mastermind.com webinars: Free “Knowledge Business” masterclasses that lead into paid programs. I broke this model down in my Mastermind.com review.
  • Landmark Forum intro evenings: Free introduction sessions that lead into the paid 3-day Forum (around $795). Classic “free taste, paid meal” funnel.

The difference with Power Code is that these competitors send you to a seminar. Power Code sends you to Genesis, which can end with a pitch to invest $29,000.

How Much Does the Power Code Masterclass Cost?

This is the easiest pricing section I’ve ever written: the Power Code Masterclass is free.

  • Current price: $0. Every official landing page advertises it as a “FREE 2-Hour Masterclass” (some say 90 minutes). No credit card needed to register.
  • What it actually costs you: your name, email, and phone number (they ask permission to text you), plus your time sitting through a pitch.
  • The “guarantee”: They claim what they reveal is “100% guaranteed to work or we’ll pay you just for trying it.” This is a confidence hook, not a refund policy on a product you bought, because you didn’t buy anything.

Power Code Masterclass Upsells

Since the class itself is free, the upsell is the entire point. Here’s the ladder it feeds into, which I documented in detail in my Genesis review:

  • Genesis by Inspirean ($349, down from $995) – the main pitch. The 3-day “transformational event” the masterclass is built to sell you. Sometimes offered with “double your money back” and even “full refund if you attend and leave a review” hooks. (That refund-for-review setup is exactly why I tell people not to trust Inspirean’s wall of 5-star ratings.)
  • Genesis X – group coaching, normally $1,998. A 6-week follow-up program, often dangled as a “free” bonus inside Genesis. In my experience, “coaching” like this is where high-pressure sales live.
  • The back-end coaching – the real, massive upsell. A verified Trustpilot reviewer reported being asked to invest $29,000 to get the actual “solution” after Genesis. That’s the top of the ladder this free class starts you climbing.

So while your wallet stays shut during the masterclass, understand what you’re being walked toward. This model is the same one I’ve flagged for years: free or cheap to start, massive upsell later. Always check the official site for current details, since Keala’s pricing shifts constantly.

Power Code Masterclass Features and Functionality

Here’s what you actually get when you register, feature by feature:

  • A live online session (90 min – 2 hr): Delivered over video, hosted by Keala Kanae. This is the core product.
  • The “Three Secrets” framework: The whole class is organized around three teaching points:
    • (1) discovering your “Soul’s Calling,”
    • (2) “Power Code Rewiring” to kill procrastination and doubt, and
    • (3) the “guaranteed results” promise. It’s a clean, classic webinar structure.
  • The “dark psychology” angle: A big chunk is spent explaining why you self-sabotage and plateau financially “no matter how hard you push.” This is the emotional setup, it makes you feel the problem and relate to it.
  • A scheduling calendar: You pick a date and time that works for you to sit in on the seminar. The seminar is not live. You can normally pick a time that starts within minutes..
  • An SMS opt-in: Registration signs you up for text reminders from Inspirean. Expect follow-up messages nudging you toward the next step.
  • A “bonus training” offer: On at least one landing page, after you register you’re immediately offered an extra bonus training. The funnel starts upselling before the class even begins.
  • The Genesis pitch at the end: This is the actual feature that matters. Everything builds toward enrolling you in the paid Genesis event.

What’s not here?: Any concrete, repeatable business or income skill. No niche selection, no traffic strategy, no offer building. The Power Code Masterclass is a mindset presentation. Period.

My Experience With the Power Code Masterclass

I’ll be straight with you about my vantage point. It comes from years of sitting through Keala’s funnels, the AWOL webinars, the Fullstaq Business Launch Challenge, the Digital Freelancer ads, plus working through the Power Code registration flow and cross-referencing what real attendees report.

No matter what I think about a platform, it’s important to share both positives and negatives.

The registration page loaded instantly, the calendar popped right up, and within two clicks I had a “seat.” No friction by design here, because friction kills free-webinar conversions, and Keala is definitely a pro at this.

On the positive side, the framing is genuinely good. Keala’s softer, calmer “human evolution” tone is a smart rebrand from the old backwards hat, luxury guru act. I remember watching him in one of my very first YouTube videos walking through an obviously rented mansion selling one of his first “done for you” systems.

And to be fair, the underlying idea, that your beliefs and self-talk quietly cap your results, isn’t wrong.

Plenty of people who attend the broader Inspirean programs describe real emotional “aha” moments, and the staff get consistently strong marks even from critics. If a free 2-hour mindset reset is all you’re after, you might walk away feeling something real.

But here’s the negative encounter a typical attendee runs into. By the end of the masterclass, you don’t have a method, you have a feeling. You feel the gap in your life more sharply than when you sat down, and then you’re pointed toward Genesis as the fix.

That’s not an accident.

It’s the same pattern a Trustpilot reviewer described one level up the ladder: they left Genesis with “a very clear understanding of the problem,” followed by a pitch to spend $29,000 on the solution. The masterclass is the first rung of that exact same ladder.

And that’s what bothers me most as a reviewer. A free class sounds like a no risk way to “just check it out.” But the entire thing is engineered to move you to the next paid step while you’re at your most inspired, most vulnerable, and least skeptical.

And no, there’s nothing illegal about that. It’s smart, aggressive marketing. But you deserve to walk in knowing it.

❌ Power Code Masterclass / Keala Kanae Complaints

  • “I wasted $3,000… it was mainly just about getting me to sell their course. I didn’t learn concrete skills like picking a niche.” – Reddit (via ScamRisk)
  • “It’s the selling part from Keala I don’t align with. That made me disappointed.” – Trustpilot
  • “Keala Kanae training is a scam. I spent $15k back when it was AWOL Academy. He’s just a salesman, not a real education platform.” – WorkFromYourLaptop comments
  • “Clearly an upsell sales ladder. Way too expensive for any kind of beginner.” – Reddit
  • “All these gurus say the same speech: ‘This isn’t for everyone, how bad do you want it?’ If you’ve made all this money, why charge people so much to help them?” – WorkFromYourLaptop comments
  • “I went all the way to the ‘coaching call.’ It was nothing more than a pressured sales call.” – Reddit

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Power Code Masterclass free, and what’s the catch?
Yes, the Power Code Masterclass is completely free to attend. There’s no credit card required and no purchase to join the webinar. The catch is that it’s a lead-generation event: you hand over your contact information and sit through a live presentation that ends by pitching you Keala Kanae’s paid Genesis by Inspirean event. The free masterclass is the front end of a sales funnel, not a standalone course.

What’s the difference between the Power Code Masterclass and Genesis by Inspirean?
The Power Code Masterclass is the free introductory webinar, while Genesis by Inspirean is the paid 3-day seminar it leads into, including a reported $29,000 back-end coaching offer.

Will I actually learn how to make money online in the Power Code Masterclass?
No. The Power Code Masterclass teaches a mindset and personal-development framework focused on beating procrastination, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome, not a concrete online business skill set. You won’t learn niche selection, traffic generation, affiliate marketing, or sales funnel building.

This is a personal-finance and online-business topic, and your situation is unique. I’m a content creator who reviews these platforms, not a financial advisor. Always do your own due diligence and check the official site for the latest details before spending any money.
