Remember when I said there’s a right way AND a wrong way to use Chat-GPT4 for content writing? This is a big one. Understanding this difference can literally mean the difference between your business exploding and going down like the Titanic.
When using ChatGPT4 you CANNOT simply ask it to spit out 2000 words on a given topic and then copy and paste it into your blog post and expect to succeed.
I feel the need to repeat that.
WHEN USING CHATGPT4 YOU CANNOT SIMPLY ASK IT TO SPIT OUT 2000 WORDS ON A GIVEN TOPIC AND THEN COPY AND PASTE IT INTO YOUR POST AND EXPECT TO SUCCEED.
Just like there are plagiarism detectors out there, there’s AI content detectors as well. In fact, if you’re a blogger, content creator, or affiliate marketer and you create content regularly you should be using one of these tools.
The best one I’ve found is OriginalityAI. It’s free to try and very, very affordable.
If you’re a content writer that outsources your writing, you seriously need to have this tool to double check that your writer isn’t just giving you copied and pasted AI content.
Why is this so important?
Google doesn’t want all its search results to be simply AI responses. It’s not robots making these searches, it’s humans. Humans still need that human touch. And while Chat-GPT4 does output unique and original content (its plagiarism percentage regularly comes back as 0%), it’s very easy to spot that it’s written by AI.
It’s getting better though. Where Chat-GPT3 would return a percentage of almost 100% AI written, Chat-GPT4 returns a 60/40 or 55/45 percentage.
Is this a little scary as a content creator? Well yes. It could mean that AI is getting better at sounding human.
Or it simply means that the technology to identify Chat-GPT4’s algorithms is playing catch up. It could very well be a couple weeks from now and programs like OriginalityAI may scan Chat-GPT4’s content and post a grade of 0% human.
We’ll see. But in the meantime it’s important to use Chat-GPT4 as simply a FRAMEWORK for your writing. Ask it to give you an outline for an article, not the entire article. Ask it for 5 subheadings. These are the major talking points. All you have to do now is fill in the blanks.
And if you don’t like the subheadings it gave you, just ask for more. Need a little more insight on a subheading? Ask it to give you 300 words on it and then rephrase that info in your voice. This is how you create quality content for your audience and use this tool to bring value!
