Freedom Accelerator Paul Hilse YouTube review

It turns out there are two different iterations of Freedom Accelerator. The current version (this review) is by Paul Hilse and is a faceless YouTube automation training platform. The previous version is by Jonathan Montoya and is a TikTok training platform (you’ll be able to check out that full review tomorrow).

Let’s break down what the YouTube version of Freedom Accelerator by Paul Hilse’s program teaches, how much it costs, who it’s for, and if it actually works.

TL;DR: Is Paul Hilse’s Freedom Accelerator Legit in 2025?

While Freedom Accelerator is a real coaching program for making money on YouTube without showing your face, it has a massive upsell, is not beginner friendly in my opinion, and might not be worth it for everyone.

  • Real method: YouTube automation can work, but it takes time and effort
  • High price: Starts at $1,497, with a massive upsell at $7,997
  • Faceless option: Good for shy creators, but less personal, and you risk demonetization by YouTube if you use AI with your faceless vids.
  • Lots of work: You’ll need to manage a team and stay organized. Not beginner friendly.
  • Mixed results: Some do well, others struggle to see profits

What is Freedom Accelerator?

Website: freedomaccelerator.org

Freedom Accelerator is a course made by Paul Hilse that teaches you how to build faceless YouTube channels without ever being on camera. You don’t even have to use your voice. Instead, you hire people to make your videos, and you focus on running the channel like an outsourced business.

The course promises that you’ll learn how to pick good topics, build a team to make the videos, and earn money from your channel.

Heads-up: YouTube has new rules when it comes to faceless videos and the use of AI. If your faceless videos rely on AI content, you risk being demonetized by YouTube. Even though this course doesn’t fully focus on AI, it’s important to know that if YouTube feels that your content doesn’t feel real and human you’ll be kicked right out of the profit zone.

Here’s what Freedom Accelerator teaches:

  • Choosing good video topics that people search for
  • Hiring writers, voice actors, and editors
  • Making videos people want to watch to the end
  • Earning money through ads, affiliate links, and sponsors
  • Managing your team and growing your channel

It’s not easy or automatic, and in my opinion it’s not set up for beginners with its high price tag and outsourcing aspects. But it’s a real method that can work if you stay consistent.

How Much Does Freedom Accelerator Cost?

Right now, the Freedom Accelerator website doesn’t show the price anywhere, which to me is a big warning sign. Usually, when a course hides its cost and tells you to book a “discovery call,” it’s a “this is gonna be EXPENSIVE” red flag.

From what past students and outside websites say, the basic course costs around $1,497, and the massive upsell to the Elite Program is about $7,997. These prices aren’t shown on the site, so they might change or include extra stuff they try to sell you later.

Some people say there’s a payment plan for the $1,497 version to help split up the cost. Others mention a free trial or sneak peek, but I couldn’t find that confirmed anywhere. Just be careful, ask lots of questions, and don’t feel rushed into anything.

Paul Hilse’s 5 Step System

Freedom Accelerator Paul Hilse 5 step system

Paul lists a 5 Step System in the Freedom Accelerator journey. It’s more like a customer process than hands-on tasks, but here’s what it looks like:

  1. Book a Free Call – This is where it starts. You talk with someone from Paul’s team to see if the program is a good fit for you. (Any time you have to go through a “coaching call” to see if something is a good fit, understand this is a pressured sales call. Be ready for upsells.)
  2. Join the Program – If you’re accepted, you get into the course and get all the training materials.
  3. Get Coaching Help – You’ll work with coaches who help you with your channel and guide you through the steps.
  4. Monetize Your Channel – This is when you start earning money by using the strategies you’ve learned.
  5. Grow and Scale – Once your channel is making money, the focus turns to growing more channels and earning even more.

These steps are more about what to expect from the program, not exactly what to do. But they give a clear idea of the overall plan.

What I Really Think About Freedom Accelerator

I’m a HUGE proponent of YouTube and how much opportunity it gives people. It’s how I found my audience and I feel it’s the easiest way to rank online. But while faceless channels can work, YouTube will demonetize your faceless channel if your too reliant on AI. If you want your channel to make money and last, you need real, human-made content.

Add to that that this program is heavy on outsourcing. Outsourcing is not easy. Hiring people, checking their work, and making sure everything runs smoothly takes time and a ton of energy. In my opinion, you can skip all that by simply showing your face and becoming your own brand. This helps you connect with your audience, build trust, and it’s much more straightforward.

If you’re ready to treat YouTube like a real job and not just a hobby, this program gives you a plan. But if you’re looking for a quick way to get rich without effort, this isn’t it.

Final Thoughts

Freedom Accelerator sounds great from the outset, but its reliance on outsourcing and massive price tag don’t make it something I feel a beginner should get started with in their YouTube journey..

What do you think? Have you tried building a faceless YouTube channel? How about outsourcing? Do you think this system is too much work at too high of a price? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
